Typically most pests will begin to show up as it starts to warm up. Once every spring is the best time to check your home for pests

What if I see a pest after treatment?

Give it about a week. It is common to still see signs of pests after our initial treatment, but if you continue to see pests give us a call or send an email and we can decide the best course of action. Most treatments come with a warranty and follow-ups are likely covered.

How much is a pest control service?

Our rates are typically between $150 and $400 for service and warranty to ensure the problem is solved. In-home inspections start at $50, and bedbug services can be more expensive due to the time, complexity and thoroughness required.

When should I call pest control?

You should call pest control if you suspect you have an infestation of pests such as ants, roaches, rodents, bed bugs, or other common household pests.

Additionally, you should consider calling pest control if you are experiencing any of the following:

  1. Visible pests: If you see pests, such as insects or rodents, in your home, it’s a sign that you have an infestation.
  2. Unusual sounds: Rodents or other pests can make scratching or scurrying noises in your walls or ceilings, indicating that they have taken up residence in your home.
  3. Foul odours: Pests can produce a strong, unpleasant odour that may be noticeable in your home.
  4. Damaged items: If you notice damage to your clothing, furniture, or food, it may be a sign that pests are present.
  5. Health concerns: Some pests, such as bed bugs, can cause skin irritations and other health problems.

If you suspect that you have an infestation, it’s best to call a pest control professional as soon as possible. We will be able to identify the pests for you and recommend the most effective methods for elimination and prevention.

How many hours after pest control can I go home?

Typically you can return home either immediately or if we are spraying, 2 hours after treatment. This time allows our product to dry and continue to work as intended. All of our products are non-toxic or very low toxicity and are safe for you and your family as soon as they are sprayed.

Are Termites a problem in the Fraser Valley?

While Termites are a massive problem for people all over the world, especially our neighbors in the Okanagan, we rarely if ever see Termites in the Fraser Valley. Carpenter ants are much more common, and while they aren’t quite as large of an issue as a termite infestation, Carpenter Ant Infestations will require a professional treatment plan to remove them.

Is there any odour when you spray for pests?

There is a mild odour when we spray for Insects, simply request that your technician leaves windows open while treating and the smell will dissipate rapidly after treatment.

Hey Bugman! So we had the house done yesterday but unfortunately, I have seen a few ants. Most are dying but one was crawling up the wall. Should I wait a few days or is this a bad sign?

As strange as this is going to sound, it’s actually a good sign. When we treat for ants it can sometimes flush them out of places you wouldn’t otherwise see them and that’s why you’ll start to see more ants. We typically allow two weeks after the treatment for the activity to slow down and then stop.
