We are in Abbotsford. We love their services and use them regularly. A few years now.
We usually hesitate for service contracts but this is money well spent and invested. I do believe it’s important to have.
I hate creepy crawlies and we want to protect our house.
It’s an investment in our house, and I sleep better knowing there’s little worry of anything crawling on me at night, it reduces all manner of creatures everywhere around us because there’s less food for others to eat.
It’s also good for future resale value of our home that we don’t have nests and whatnot around our house.
Gross factor is eliminated.
Overall we are quite happy with this service and it’s priced fairly, given our economy and fair wages and what they have to do.

Today marks 10 years my family and I have being using Bugman Pest Control for our house on Silverdale in Mission. I remember becoming a client when Nigel (father of current owner Bryce) was considering retiring! Which says a lot. This is generational extermination! I always felt apart of the Bugman family. I really liked every tech that came through over the years. Even though I was sad loosing Nigel in the beginning, I was pleasantly surprised with each replacement; learning well from the exterminator before them. This is probably the reason I’ve stayed a client for so long. Big thank you to a company who has had my back over the years and never tried to rip me off.
We have used their services to help with spiders and insects 2 years in a row.each Time the treatment far exceeded the timeframe which was fantastic since my autistic son struggles a lot with this. Not only this but they even offered a complimentary exterior spray at our new home after we had our house burned down and lost everything.

After finding a nest starting to form inside my roof, I contacted bug man. They came in less than a week, were on time and prompt with their treatment of the disaster attempting to build in my home. Had clear instructions on how to move forward and was very polite even though I was late getting back home to greet them. I am a fan of fixing my own problems but wkrh this I needed a professional, would use again but hopefully won’t have to.
Today was my first time using Bugman, and I was very impressed. the communication was spot on, the people I dealt with at the office were friendly and professional, and Liam, who showed up to take care of my bald-faced hornet nest, was fantastic. He was punctual, friendly, professional, and I will absolutely use them for any future issues.

Ivo was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and overall just a really nice person. When I originally called to make the appointment, the person with whom I spoke was also friendly and knowledgeable, as well as reassuring (which was nice). As a whole, the company presents as professional, organized, and very capable.
The overall experience was exceptionally well. We booked an appointment and I had to cancel it which they said no problem and rebooked it again. Jesse came by June 5 was very very professional sprayed in our house sprayed outside our perimeter every concrete surface we have and was wonderful.
The whole process was smooth and professional when hiring Bugman pest control services. It’s nice working with a company that takes pride in their work and actually cares about doing the job properly. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re dealing with any pest issues.

Do you actually send a technician out to Mission?
Yes. The Bugman has worked the Fraser Valley for more than 30 years, and every review above this section was left by a Mission customer. None of them were borrowed from another town to fill the page.
Do I have to pay up front?
No. A deposit holds the appointment and the rest is paid once the job is done. The quote is free and comes first, so nobody pays for work sight unseen.
What happens to my deposit if I cancel?
Tell us before the appointment and it comes back. Call (604) 854-2847 as soon as you know, and we release it. We would rather return a deposit than keep money for a visit nobody needs.
Will I get an arrival window, or just a date?
A window, and a phone call if the technician is running behind. The office works Monday to Friday and does not book weekend appointments, so pick the weekday that costs you least and say so when you book.
Are the sprays safe around children and pets?
The products, Dragnet among them, are low-odour and safe around children and pets once dry. You get preparation instructions beforehand and an information sheet for the product used. Mention fish tanks, allergies, a baby’s room or anything else you want left alone, and the technician works around it.
Is the technician licensed?
Yes, and in this province they have to be. The Integrated Pest Management Act requires a licence for every pest control technician in British Columbia. The Bugman is family-run and government-licensed, and the certificate is yours to see on request.
The first treatment did not finish the job. Now what?
Call and tell us what is left and where. With rats and mice and with cockroaches, activity usually climbs before it falls, because the treatment drives them into the open. The technician returns to the property, reassesses it and treats again where it is needed. Which follow-up visits are included depends on the service, so ask before the work starts.
Who do I call if the technician does not turn up?
The office, on (604) 854-2847. A missed appointment is one of the most common complaints in this trade, and the only real fix is a phone number that gets answered. Call it and somebody will tell you where the technician is.
Do you charge to come and look?
Quotes are free. What the job costs depends on the pest, the property, how reachable the problem area is, how far it has spread and how many follow-up visits it needs. Where that cannot be judged over the phone we recommend an inspection, and we say so before booking.
